Dutch term
WE-premie
Dutch to English
Bus/Financial
Human Resources
Salary payments
Again an item on a salary statement. This must have something to do with pensions. Is this the part of the pension premium the employee is paying? I can't find the "WE"-bit explained anywhere....

It's the unemployment insurance premium paid into the general unemployment fund (Algemene Werkloosheidsfonds).
Both WE-premie and WA-premie make up the WW-premie (unemployment insurance premium).
I'm not sure if there is a generally accepted translation for this that might be cross-border compatible, so I would propose it is the equivlance of a general "Unemployment Insurance" premium/contribution. Both the employee and employer pay into this, but one is fixed across all sectors and one varies.
