English term

break(-)over curve

English to Czech Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng nástupní most do letadla
Elektroinstalace nástupního mostu do letadel:

For protection against overloading circuits for supplying electric motors, motor protection circuit breakers are installed. These devices are 3-pole magneto-thermal circuit breakers adapted to the command and protection of motors in accordance with the IEC 947-2 standard.

The BREAK OVER CURVE of these circuit breakers is suitable for working with this category of components and its break over range can be regulated, to be adjusted to the nominal power of the motor to be protected.

....

The other lighting and heating circuits or supplementary control circuits are protected by automatic magneto-thermal circuit breakers with a minimum value of 6 KA of short circuit current and with type "C" BREAK OVER CURVES. In case the element to be protected has a considerable start-up point, as a transformer, the automatic circuit is a slower BREAK OVER CURVE of type "D".

Že by tím mysleli spínací(,) nebo přepínací křivku?

Děkuji za návrhy.

Note from asker:
Děkuji za odpověď. Trochu mě mate to slovo "over".
Vypadá to na to. Pokud bych však měl "vypínací charakteristiku" přeložit do angličtiny, určitě bych ji přeložil jinak. Nepsali to rodilí mluvčí...
