Deckles are adjustable devices that vary end product width by blocking off portions of the die slot from both ends of the die. Deckle System is an adjustable internal deckle used to reduce the die extrusion width. The deckle consists of a blade with a special machined profile, precision machined end seals, end plates, seal plates, and external deckle adjustment mechanism with a position reference scale.

Při ruční výrobě papíru se tomu říká čerpací rám. Nevím, o jaký obor tady jde. Většina dohledatelných odkazů se týká výroby papíru. Pak je to také ta část, která obepíná hovězí roštěněc, což rovněž poukazuje na to slůvko rám.
