English term
journal
English to Czech

gears
Note: Applies to Radial X External journal type, only.
If the journal is conical, enter the cone angle. Enter a + value
when cone is pointing up (for example, when using bottom
center as a journal, enter +60), and enter a - value when the
cone is pointing down (ex: top center, enter -60).
When a cone angle is entered, the probe will move on a path
normal to the cone to touch the journal.
Cone angle may be entered for both non-interrupted and
interrupted journals."
dále se vyskytuje ve spojeních "journal set", "yournal reference" apod.

Discussion
inspection.
All gear geometry measurements are made relative to the gear’s reference axis of
rotation defined by its datum surfaces. However, test pieces are often mounted on the
instrument using non-datum surfaces such as centers. This can cause eccentricity
and misalignment (or tilt) of the reference axis, adversely affecting measurement
accuracy.
Journal Reference mathematically establishes a reference axis from the test piece’s
datum surfaces. All subsequent measurements will then be made relative to that
mathematical reference axis, removing the effects of mounting errors.
Journal Reference establishes the reference axis either from two radial type datum
surfaces (diameters) or from one radial type datum surface and one axial type datum
surface (face).
