English to Dutch Bus/Financial Law: Taxation & Customs import of goods
When goods are imported they are valued by customs on the basis of which import duties are levvied. In the case the goods are devalued at a later stage, this results in duty credits, i.e. refunds of paid duties.

agree André Linsen : Ik voel "tegoed" aan als iets wat je nog moet krijgen, "creditering" als het in rekening brengen van een tegoed?

Ja, ik kan me dat wel stukje taalgevoel wel voorstellen. Uiteindelijk komt het natuurlijk wel op hetzelfde neer, lijkt mij.
