The following is from the beginning of a trademark licence agreement.
XXXXXXXX a company incorporated in France with registered office at [ ] (the “Principal Licensee”) on behalf of itself and the subsidiaries of the Principal Licensee from time to time (the “Subsidiary Licensees”) (together, “the Licensees”)
For « Principal Licensee » I’m going with « l’Exploitant Principal » and, obviously, « les Exploitants » for (“the Licensees”)

I do have to go with "exploitant" for "licensee", as this in the in-house term and it has the virtue at least of being clear (the companies concerned do indeed "exploit" the trademarks). I was rather surprised by your comment on "titulaire" which we take to mean the owner of the trademark - the LIcensor - and not the Licensees. |

: je suis d'accord avec vous concernant la terminologie. J'ai un doute concernant subsidiaries, il peut s'agir des filiales du licencié en question. Il y a sûrement une définition du terme dans le contrat/Oui, cela semble logique!

Oui, je me suis posée la même question que vous vu qu'il est fait référence à ces filiales juste avant mais cela ne serait pas "Licensee Subsidiaries" plutôt alors ?
