"consideration" plutôt ? La formule consacrée dans les brevets est normalement : "for good and valuable consideration", la contrepartie financière.

pour une raison dûment justifiée j'ai lu aussi, dans le cadre d'un accord de cession de brevet, "en contrepartie de valeur"....
