English term

I can only lend it to you.

English to Hebrew Art/Literary Poetry & Literature Scenario
Greetings,

Here's the context:

“May I keep this book, please?”
“Sorry, I can only lend it to you.”

I think perhaps you use a different word for lending money and for lending items such as books, bicycles etc. but I'm not sure.

All the best,

Simon
