It appears that the people are not unanimous in respect of this term because there are different versions in various sources. One describes it as Burj(बुर्ज) and the other mentions it as JharokhA(झरोखा). Another dictionary suggests that it is a structure from which the view of a distant object may be had and it gives its Hindi meaning as Door ka drishya dekhne kA machAn(दूर का दृश्य देखने का मचान). Another technical dictionary gives its meaning as DhArAgrih(धारागृह).

You may like to check whether one of the abovementioned substitues gets fit in your context.

disagree Dr Singh : PramodBhawan or (Burj is like a tall, circular tower)) depending on the context While Gazebo - a free standing, roofed structure providing a shady resting place), hence it is like summer house ( ; Gazebo or belvedre

Thanks for your comment.Since I wasn't pretty sure,I felt it pertinent to provide the answerer with the maximum number of options by consulting various resources.,IMHO PramodBhawan doesn't convey the meaning as it denotes a place or home for recreation.

PromodBhawan

so far I have seen, Burj stands for 'Minar' spiral, round, tall structure where you can see around far off; which usually people dont build in their backyard. You can find this term very commonly used in literature and stories. Hence 'PromodBhawan' I think is probably the most nearby term related to 'Gazebo'; nearer to 'Belvedere'
Peer comment(s):

neutral nlingua : pramod bhawan is literally "entertainment place" and does not - to my mind - convey the same meaning as gazebo
