I wonder how Serbian people would refer to the two written versions of the Serbian language:
- Serbian written with the Cyrillic alphabet and
- Serbian written with the Latin alphabet.
Would for instance "Cirilica srpski" and "Latina srpski" be correct?

is misleading, to avoid confusing those who don't know much about Serbian or even the whole Europe, it's better to put:
Serbian (in Cyrillic script)
Serbian (in Latin script)
same as
"Arabic Turkish" to mean "Turkish (in Arabic script)" would be a proper brain-twister for most people if you had to use this option for old texts in Turkish written before Kemal Atatürk's reforms.
