Mira lo que encontré sobre el término "creep": "Se llama CREEP a la relacion entre la deformacion permanente y el tiempo que sufren los matertiales que estan en servicio a elevadas temperaturas y expuestos a tensiones mecanicas estáticas (como rotores de turbinas en motores).
El CREEP es normalmente un fenomeno indeseable y frecuentemente un factor limitante en el tiempo de vida de una pieza. Se observa en todo tipo de materiales; en metales esto se vuelve importante para altas temperaturas que estan alrededor del 0.4Tm (Tm: temperatura de fusion absoluta)
