brevet d'aptitude professionnelle d'assistant-animateur technicien

French to English Other Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Audiology
Hi,
I am currently translating a certificate for Australia and the full title is "brevet d'aptitude professionnelle d'assistant-animateur technicien de la jeunesse et des sports" (BAPAAT).
I think this is the same thing as BAFA (Brevet d’Aptitude aux Fonctions d’Animateur) but I wanted to double-check with you.

I also found this definition "premier niveau de qualification pour l’animation et l’encadrement des activités sportives et socioculturelles" (https://www.sports.gouv.fr/bapaat-480)
Thanks

Thanks Phil! I finally kept it as is and gave an explanation in a footnote based on the definition I posted.

The qualification referred to in the previous question is the same as or very similar to this one, and we had some good suggestions last time. 'Technicien' means 'specialist', and you could omit it. Maybe 'youth and sports leader's certificate'.

Proposed translations

2 hrs

assistant facilitation technician certificate of competency

Example sentence:

Your title, Educational Facilitation Technician, does suit what the role has become better, anyway.

Architectural And Facilitation Technician: Provided expert technical support and designed architectural and facilitation services for seamless construction

Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : No, you can't use 'technician' here.
