extraction de fond

French to English Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial Technical details in an industrial wood boiler tender offer
"Extraction de fond avec vanne à manoeuvre rapide et vanne de barrage": a detail for a facility in this industrial-sized wood burning boiler system - part of a tender document.
"Extraction de fond": Extraction from the bottom? Complete extraction? I can't get this yet. Ideas please. Thanks in advance.

"Blow-down valve" is right in this context Thank you, Ran, for your reference, which pointed in the right direction. It was indeed a blow-down valve being referred to.

This might help, but I'm afraid I can't be sure if "blow-down" is what you're after...

If it is that (PDF ref above), it's definitely "blow-down valve"; that's what IATE calls it.
