Any idea how I would translate this in English? Context:
Proposed translations (English)

fat-reducing program

sécher for a body-builder means reducing body fat (vs developing or defining muscles) with an appropriate work out program.

just in case someone is interested, there\'s 3 kinds of programs:
1 muscle building, heavy weights, short reps, to muscle failure
2 muscle definition, lighter weights, long reps, just short of muscle fatigue
3. fat reduction, cardio all the way + nutrition
most people combine programs, 2 by 2, even all 3 at a time.

agree writeaway : in the words of my son it's a period when you lose body fat etc and define the muscle (according to him, you work out differently).
