Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Björn Vrooman

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

TRUMP IT!
agree Björn Vrooman : Not sure why asker didn't find this on her own - no flatscreen at home? We got a USB port too. https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-use-the-usb-connec...

Our old DVD player doesn't have one, still, it works. No TV, yippee!
agree Silvia Autenrieth : Würde Ausdrücke wie "USB-Recording" oder "USB playback" auch als Germanismen betrachten.

Sicherlich sind sie das auch. Ich bleibe bei meiner Muttersprache, sicher ist sicher
agree Birgit Gläser : with port

No sherry?
agree AndersonT (X) : this is correct, but see my comment to mairaw's answer. Not every USB port can play HD video, so it makes sense to qualify it, "HD-capable USB port" is sometimes used ...

Then there would be absolutely no reason to advertise the port.

USB playback option / USB playback ability

Presumably on a TV screen
Peer comment(s):

agree AndersonT (X) : This is preferrable because there are flatscreens out there that have USB ports but not the ability to play video from a device connected to said port ;) E.g. some older flatscreens can only use it to attach a keyboard or WiFi dongle

USB payback option(s)

sometimes one finds the term translated as "to Play"
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : playback for starters. 100% confidence with 00 refs? /you have posted payback
22 mins
fail to see you point, playback is "Wiedergabe" . Playback from a USB storage device. my high confidence level was an oversight, I didnt pay attention to it. why has another peer who offered the same translation as I did, to go empty-handed ?
neutral Birgit Gläser : For one the other suggestion was already posted before yours and you submitted "payback" not "playback" and with hardware you usually refer to ports for USB, HDMI etc.
