German term

Kundentakt

German to English Bus/Financial Management Kaizen workshop
This is mentioned in a powerpoint presentation from a Kaizen workshop. There is no additional context except to say that the "Kundentakt" defines the rhythm of production. I was thinking of "customer cycle" or something similar, but woud like to know if anybody has a better term/well-known ter,

Thanks.
Proposed translations (English)

customer's manufacturing/production cycle

"Customer cycle" on its own is a bit vague.
As it is obviously the customer's manufacturing/production cycle that is meant, I would suggest you say so ;-).
Note from asker:
They also use "customer takt"!!

agree Steffen Walter : And, surprisingly, they haven taken over the German "Takt", as in Taktzeit -> takt time. See example: http://www.toyotageorgetown.com/terms.asp

Surprising indeed - over 80 hits for "takt time" (mainly associated with Toyota)
