Pasten-Salbenkanülen

German to English Medical Medical: Instruments Medical devices
Context:
"Zertifikat gemäß Anhang V der Richtlinie für Medizinprodukte 93/42/EWG: Pasten-Salbenkanülen Download PDF >"

I have found "paste syringe(s)" (mainly used in the veterinary and dentistry fields) and also "ointment cannula". How would you put the two together and is it acceptable to use "paste/ointment syringes" here?

Thanks.

paste/ointment cannulas

Or paste/ointment injection needles, can't see why it shouldn't work. It boils down to that these cannulas are suitable for administration of paste-like (which includes ointments) substances. Another option would be cannulas for pastes and ointments but you might want to keep it short.

By the way, I would avoid to use syringe as that normally denotes the whole thing including the needle or just the body. \"Kanülen\" are only the needles.
