German term

Universalklemme

German to English Tech/Engineering
for connecting circuits...can I say universal terminal here? Or is clamp better? Up to now I have been translating Klemmen with terminals, so I'd like to stay consistent if I can!

Discussion

Nathan Hanika (X) Jul 22, 2004:
Probably more likely to be a terminal, but do you have any kind of picture or exact context?
Kevin Pfeiffer (X) Jul 22, 2004:
For connecting circuits? As in elect. circuits? Here's one, which I would call a clamp or connector (layman's opinion): http://www.venzinag.ch/duotop/images/blitzschutz/universalkl...
