Conservative/symptomatic cure/treatment/therapy: Therapy that only treat symptoms caused by deiseases.
i.e. To treat a pain caused by tumour is a symptomatic treatment,

Just propose this because it may be a substitute in general. Stick to the formal medical term, your word "Radical cure" may serve it well.
