Norwegian term
pådrivende
Norwegian to English
Marketing
Business/Commerce (general)
Jeg er pådrivende og dominerende og kan av og til være litt kontant.
My first instinct is to say "driven", but that means pushing yourself toward success, but what do you call some one who pushes other people to succeed - stronger than "encouraging"...?

Comment: "Tusen tack for detta!"
3 hrs
pushy
Not an elegant turn of phrase, this - but the few occurrences seem to indicate it is used as much about one who pushes self ('driven') as one who pushes others/team members to greater things.
11 hrs
motivational
Implies a bit more than encouraging and is business-like.
11 hrs
assertive
or forceful, driven, perhaps.
