find the arithmetic mean / the weighted arithmetic mean

Strictly speaking, a mathematician would say "arithmetic mean" as there are also two other kinds of mean, the geometric mean (the n-th root of the product of n positive numbers) and the harmonic mean. However, for a non-specialised public probably "mean" would suffice, as the others (particularly the harmonic mean) are not well known outside mathematical circles.
