I am wondering about this term in a title that reads as follows:
'DEFESA DE MÍDIA - CAMPANHA DE POSICIONAMENTO 2013'
I would have thought 'Defesa de Mídia' was 'Media Campaign' but could this be 'Media Protection'. Or should I try to merge the two concepts to avoid repetition? As per below:
Media Positioning Campaign 2013
I'd appreciate any thoughts on this.
Best wishes
Louise

Media advocacy: is “the strategic use of the mass media as a resource to advance a social or public policy initiative” (Jernigan and Wright, 1996.) In Canada for example, the Manitoba Public Insurance campaigns illustrate how media advocacy was used to fight alcohol and tobacco-related health issues.
