Portuguese term

pecando por defeito/procura pecar por excesso

"So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."
James 4:17

Sins of Omission and Sins of Commission Haunt Bush in Pakistan...

The Latest Diet Craze: Media Sins of Omission | NewsBusters.org

"There are sins of commission and sins of omission: commission is worse. For as long as the Lord government had not yet gotten around to modifying New Brunswick's employment standards - about the worst in the country - they could mostly be criticized for taking their time. After all, the standards had been set by another government...."

agree Carla Selyer : I agree. Sins of commission are indeed committed deliberately, as opposed to sins of omission.
