Spanish term

Fideicomitente Uno

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) source text from Mexico
I am translating a trust agreement that involves three parties; there is a "fideicomitente uno y fideicomitente dos." Their information appears in the first paragraph of the agreement, and states that hereinafter they will be referred to as "fideicomitente uno," etc.

How does that translate into clear English in the business world?

Both trustor and settlor are ok, see below:

a settlor is also referred to as a trustor, or occasionally, a grantor or donor.

Where the trust is a testamentary trust, the settlor is usually referred to as the testator.

Re: fideicomiso / fiduciario/ fiduciante/ fideicomitido

Acá te van las traducciones que en mi opinión equivalen a lo que vos estás solicitando:

A. Fideicomiso: Trust

B. Fiduciario (conocido también como Fideicomitido): Trustee, Fiduciary

C. Fiduciante (conocido también como Fideicomitente, Constituyente o Cedente): Trustor, Grantor, Settlor, Creator, Donor

D. Patrimonio Fideicomitido o Bienes Fideicomitidos: Trust Property, Trust Fund, Trust Estate http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=347969&highl...

Re: fideicomitente
You are right, fideicomitente is a trustor or grantor (I found grantor; is it a more common term?).

Fideicomisario, however, (in Mexico at least) is definetly the trust beneficiary and in the case of real estate trusts is almost always the foreigner who bought the land. Fiduciario is the trustee, usually a bank. My confusion is that in what I was translating, one entity was both the Grantor and the beneficiary.

Re: fiduciario, fideicomitente [es-mx=>en-ca]
Creo que no del todo.

Fiduciary o trustee que es el término que faltaba es la institución fiduciaria.

Fideicomisario es el beneficiary.

Fideicomitente es el trustor o founder of a trust.
