Spanish term

arrimar la moneda

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)

(...) the solution for the Nairas issue is to adjust the currency the costs are denominated in (15/85) to bring it into line with the 40/60 proposed by the client??

...adjust the sum...

Hi jmf;
I'm inclined to believe that this a saying and lot a lirteral translation for "moneda". In other words the figure should be adjusted to approximate the client's proposal (40/60).

the currency be brought closer

that the currency in which ... be/is brought closer to / as close as possible to the 40/60...

agree Jenni Lukac (X) : agree but your "bringing it into line with" (less formal) sounds fine to as well.
