Intervino: MLC

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
Hi, I'm translating the certification of a signature of a Notary Public and after the text of the certification there appears a chart that says: "Intervino: MLC". Then there follow the correponding seals, signatures and stamps.

I have no idea what that chart stands for. Could you suggest any translation options, please?

OK, my guess is that they correspond to the initials of the person who did the checks! If you have time, you can verify this yourself with the Colegio de escribanos: the telephone number for 'legalizaciones' is (0351) 5706595/96, but you might get a quicker and more pleasant response from the press office on (0351) 5706539.

Hi, Nigel. This is a certification from the Society of Notaries Public from the Province of Córdoba (Argentine Republic). The same initials appear on a different certification I have attached to a different document. There aren't any subjects who can be related to those letters/initials.

context! What is the country you're dealing with? Have you checked that "MLC" are not the initials of a person named elsewhere in the document?
