Acordar means "decide" or "resolve" rather than "agree":

: Great to see you again Charles! Agree with all this, although "estese [sic] al archivo" seems likely to mean "archívese el caso", so perhaps "close the case"?

Hi Robert. Great to see you too! You could be right about "archívese el caso", though "acordado en el procedimiento" suggests to me that it's already been decided. But maybe "procedimiento" refers to something else. Anyway, many thanks for your comment!

It would be good to know more about the context, but I don't think it will make any difference to the style. "Estese", subjunctive, is essentially an order or instruction, like "Remítase" etc. A mere statement would surely be indicative.

I don't think so. It seems the case has already been closed ("acordado en el procedimiento"). This is saying that the decision to close the case is to be adhered to. Perhaps that would be a better way of putting it (I agree that mine is a bit awkward).

England & Wales: entry of a nolle prosequi in a case, for instance by the Attorney-General who sihes to stop a private proecution. In the USA, can be used as a verb: the prosecution is to be nolle prosequied.
