Las ventas de las distintas categorías de alimentos se ven afectadas por multiples variables, tales como el poder adquisitivo de los consumidores, la distribución, la publicidad, etc. No acabo de encontrar una versión que me resulte satisfactoria del sencillo término "afectan". En este contexto (tipo eslogan):
