¡Ya quisiéramos! Aquí se sigue haciendo la misma arquitectura de barriada franquista de siempre. Somos una región de paletos y el único proyecto interesante es precisamente las torres que irán sobre la playa de vías (ahora se llama Poniente, como en Benidorm) y el futuro Hotel Masaveu, una torre de cristal en espiral de Alejandro Zaera. Será el edificio más alto y tendra 22 plantas. Tenemos suerte que gente como Zaera (autor de la preciosa terminal de cruzeros de Yokohama) siquiera nos dedique tiempo.

We wished! Unfortunately architecture here is still the same old brick apartment buildings, much in the style of Franco's 1950's housing projects. We are a region of hicks and the only interesting project right now are the towers on the railroad yard (area now called Poniente, like in Benidorm) and the future Masaveu Hotel, a spiralling crystal tower by Alejandro Zaera. We are lucky that people like Zaera (author of Yokohama's beautifil cruise-ship terminal) even take time out for us.
