Apr 5, 2009	Laurie Price	Once upon a time this was THE editorial bible in teh US. Nowadays many people also use the Associated Press Stylebook and Words into Type -- both much easier to use because they contain much less detailed information. Still, The Chicago Manual is essential for anyone editing academic texts for a US audience.	5
