Luca Balestra . Overall, certainly an improvement over WF Pro 4, and a good tool to work on.
Some things that could be improved on:
- SDL Trados has a web lookup function that allows searching any word or string of text on a list of search-based websites (online dictionaries, etc.) at once. This saves me a lot of time spent copying and pasting, and I wonder why WF Pro is missing such a function.
- Terminology autosuggest is slooow. Used to be faster and more responsive on WF Pro 3. My machine isn't the newest or fastest out there, but it's still a Macbook Air with i5 processor and SSD. I'm sure it can handle smartphone texting app-level autosuggest!
- Speaking of simple things, why can't this program handle something as simple as term capitalization? It will not capitalize a term unless it's already capitalized in my glossary.

How easy is it to learn?
Wordfast Pro 5 is the only major commercial TM tool on the market that runs natively on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Karina D'Emilio . I've been a Worfast user since 2010. Wordfast Pro 5 has improved a lot lately. It is super user-friendly and affordable. You can also directly import SDL Trados packages. I'm very happy with this tool, I highly recommend it.

Patricia Aguilar . I used to work with Wordfast, and recently I started using it again (now WF Pro 5). I was surprised by the so many improvements it has. The feature I like the most is the file preview, which helps me with getting context -something I sometimes miss when translating segments.
