Source text - French Le bouclier est constitué par le doublage de la toiture existante par des tôles galvanisées prélaquées et perforées (Figure 1 voir l'abrégé). Peu de temps avant la pose, ces tôles subissent un profilage par laminage à froid semblable à celui des tôles pleines destinées à la couverture et au bardage.
La profilage a pour but de donner à feuille de tôle une rigidité suffisante pour résister à différentes sollicitations mécaniques telles que son poids propre, celui des monteurs, les efforts du vent, le cas échéants celui de la neige etc.
Le montage est particulièrement bien adapté aux toitures couvertes de tôles métalliques, car dans ce cas, il se fait à l'aide d'écarteurs que l'on fixe au niveau des fixations des tôles de l'ancienne toiture. De sorte qu'aucune préparation complémentaire n'est nécessaire.
On trouve déjà sur le marché de telles tôles perforés dont la destination actuelle est principalement le bardage.
Translation - English The protective shield is formed by doubling of the existing roof by the painted and perforated galvanized metal sheets (Figure 1, see abstract). Not long before laying, these metal sheets are subjected to a profiling by cold rolling similar to the complete (non-perforated) metal sheets meant for roofing and cladding panels.
The profiling aims to provide an adequate rigidity to the metal sheet to withstand different mechanical stresses, such as its own weight, the weight of the roof fitter, wind forces and finally, the weight of snow etc.
The assembly is particularly well suited for the roofs already covered with the metallic sheets, because in this case, they are fixed at the level of fixtures of the old roof, with the help of spacers. In this way, no additional preparation is necessary.
Such perforated steel metal sheets are already available in the market, which are currently meant for cladding panels.

Prior to this experience in Patent Offices, I had also gained supervisory experience for about 13.5 years (1985-1999) in the fields of Quality Assurance related to Armaments produced under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
I have also worked in Private Mechanical Engineering Industries in the initial period in my career (1982-85).
