Translator by profession, but above all passion. I offer my translation services from English and French into Italian.
With the great curiosity and attention to detail that characterize me, I am able to translate in many areas with respect to closest sector terminology.
One leap into the past
I was born February 20, 1957 in Treviso (Italy), a pretty town, gently stroken by waters, not far from Venice.
After high school (Mathematics and Science) I undertook a course in translation at the School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators in the University of Trieste. The course dealt specifically with the translation of English and German into Italian.
Following my graduation in 1980, I had the opportunity to make several trips abroad, mainly in England. These trips were made in order to further my career and also to perfect my language skills.
Between 1982 and 1994 I worked for many companies in the industrial sector, translating business documents and correspondence with foreign customers.
In 1994 I moved to the Principality of Monaco, my current residence, where I diversified my skills learning French at the Mediterranean Centre of French Studies and practicing it in the all day life.
I had the opportunity to broaden my areas of expertise by working, first in the banking sector as an assistant manager (KBL Monaco, Fortis and BNP Paribas) and also in the entertainment world as, for exemple, a translator for the Ballets de Monte-Carlo (2000-2010).
Other Interests
After my love for words comes my passion for travel and exploring the cultures that surround us! Discovery, surprise, wonder, questioning, sharing, ... many emotions that are renewed each time I travel. Here are some countries I had the opportunity to discover: Mozambique, United States, Finland, Iceland, Egypt, Nepal, Greenland, Uruguay, Brazil, Tibet, India, Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and the Maldives.
I am also passionate about animals and nature in general.
