Source text - English SAFETY GUIDELINES
For your own safety, to achieve the best performance and to extend the operating life of your XXX, carefully follow the simple guidelines below.
Before connecting your XXX to the mains, check that you are using a power supply of 230 Volts 50/60 Hz.
Do not use your XXX for purposes other than those indicated in this user manual.
XXX must not be used by children or untrained persons.
The power cable must not touch hot surfaces and should be checked for wear and tear before each use.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized technical support service.
Avoid using your XXX at the same time as other power hungry electrical appliances on the same mains supply.
If you are using an extension cable, use one of at least 16 Amps with an earth connection. Plug and socket must be watertight.
Never immerse your XXX in water. Clean it by disconnecting the plug and wiping it with a dry or damp cloth.
The plug must be removed from the mains socket before cleaning the device or before carrying out maintenance.
The device must be disconnected from the mains supply after use and before any type of maintenance is carried out.
Do not touch the XXX with wet hands.
Never cover the steam outlets.
Never aim the steam jet to people or animals.
The steam must not be used on devices with electrical components such as oven interiors.
Do not open any cap when the machine is under pressure or hot (e.g. caps 8 and 10 on page 04).
Do not touch any hot component when the device is in operation.
Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel, using exclusively original spare parts supplied by the manufacturer or alternative spare parts approved by the manufacturer.

Learning a language different from your mother tongue can be a daunting task. There is only one way to do it: get an education and then go out there and learn from the locals! Oh, it helps if you are a bookworm, too.
This is exactly what I offer: a solid educational background (Honor's BA in Economics, BA in Translation and Interpreting, ESOL certificate: level C2 - Mastery) plus 25 years spent in English-speaking working environments. My hobby: reading contemporary U.S. literature (K. Vonnegut, J. Diamond) and as many newspapers as I can fit in a day's routine (from The Economist to The Guardian, Newsweek to Wired, CNN to the BBC). I love comic books, too :)
