I began working as a freelance translator in 2003 in Moscow, Russia. Several years later I became an in-house translator for a major software and games localization company, and that position helped me deepen my knowledge of the numerous aspects and peculiarities of this highly demanding work.
In 2009 I moved to Bordeaux, France, where I got my MA in English Studies, as well asa DALF C2 level equivalent in French, and where I currently live. My multicultural experiences help me provide my clients with high quality translations which masterfully convey the tone and all the nuances of the source text.
I always strive to improve my skills and I regularly participate in online training courses, webinars and industry-related events in order to offer my clients a top-notch service in EN>RU and FR>RU translation.
My other interests include martial arts, fitness, gastronomy and œnology.
