Les superficies des bassins versants s’obtiennent à partir des fonds de cartes topographiques au 1/200 000 préalablement scannés et calés en projection UTM WGS 84 en utilisant le logiciel Mapinfo 9.5. De ces cartes sont projetés au moyen des coordonnées géographiques prises par le GPS de poche de marque Sylva, les ouvrages de franchissement et les points bas recensés sur le terrain. Ensuite, les bassins versants dont les exutoires correspondent aux ouvrages existants sont délimités et numérisés et leurs superficies estimées. Il est important de souligner qu’au regard de l’échelle des cartes topographiques et de la distance qui sépare le point d’implantation de l’ouvrage à construire et celui de l’ouvrage de déviation situé en amont ou en aval, la superficie liée à l’écart entre ces deux ouvrages est considérée négligeable.

The area of watersheds is taken from topographical base maps at 1:200,000 previously scanned and
held in UTM WGS 84 projection using Mapinfo 9.5 software. From these maps, using the geographical coordinates measured by the Sylva handheld GPS, watercourse crossings and indentified low points on the ground are projected. Afterwards, the watersheds, which have outlets corresponding to the existing structure, are delimited and digitised and their area is estimated. It is important to highlight that, in regard to the scale of topographic maps and the distance which separates the stakeout point of the structure to be built and that of the deviation structure located upstream or downstream, the area relative to the margin between these two structures is considered insignificant.
