Translation is about more than just speaking multiple languages.
While speaking at least two languages may be important, knowing the material you are working on is at least equally crucial. Indeed, the most important aspect of translating is that the real meaning, the real message of the text is carried across the barrier between the languages.
I have years of experience in a multitude of fields; legal, academic and technical/industrial translations, and I put real work into my translations - the real message of the text you want to have translated will not be lost.
Over the years, I have translated documents ranging from manuals for electron microscopes to the global code of conduct for a global enterprise. I have ample experience translating (technical) user manuals and industrial documentation; legal documents, ranging from contracts to complicated IPR court cases; financial documentation, ranging from articles in financial journals to annual reviews for multi-million dollar companies.
Furthermore, over the better part of the last decade, I have provided translations for hundreds of companies and private individuals, including large international enterprises like PepsiCo, Kia, Volvo, E.on, Toshiba and many more.
Besides working as a translator, I recently obtained my Master of Science degree at Gothenburg University, Sweden.
