I offer a professional and reliable Spanish to English translation service. I am also available to proof read and revise translations.
Professional experience:
From October 2017 - February 2018 I worked as an intern for the translation agency Intonation Ltd., based in Hampshire (England). During this time, I received training on project placement, the generation of quotes and purchase orders, and proof reading. I corresponded with clients and translators, and gained an important commercial awareness of the translation industry.
I have experience translating medical texts, children's literature, travel texts/blog entries/doctoral thesis, recipes, emails, CVs, marriage certificates, and instruction manuals.
In October 2021 I worked as a Spanish scientific advisor to provide translations and Spanish language support for the company medDigital.
Specialisation:
I am a registered nurse currently undertaking a MA in translation Studies with the University of Portsmouth. I am hoping to situate myself professionally as a translator of medical texts and so seeking opportunities to take on work in this field.
