Many years of studying linguistics at the university means I know my stuff and have a conscious attitude towards language as a powerful tool for communication.
Having lived extended periods in England, Spain and Norway and maintaining a deep interest and close interaction with these linguistic communities means I feel at home in the cultural context of the texts I translate. That gives me the ability to grasp the full meaning of the texts, avoid misunderstandings and provide a translation that is not only correct in terms of information, but also retains the full expressive force of the original.
