1992-1996 Front office employee with 3 - 6 months contracts at the Tigullio Tourist Board (Genoa).
I was assigned those posts after passing open competitions based on the translation to and from the required foreign languages of tourism related documents.

Education
1996 Course on the translation of technical and scientific documents. Subjects: English and German, main pc softwares. Course followed by traineeship at the Advanced Biotechnologies Center (Genoa) translating brochures on biotechnologies in the textile and food industries.

1995 Graduated in Political Science- International branch from Università degli Studi di Genova. Main subjects: International Law, Italian and Foreign Constitutions, History, Sociology, English and German. Thesis on the Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Waste, Basel Convention and Other Related Treaties. (110/110 lode)
1992 at Goethe Institut Genoa: Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom pass mark: “Gut”.

1990 Secondary School: Liceo Linguistico S.Marta l.r. - Chiavari: Diploma di Liceo Linguistico (60/60). Foreign languages: German, English, French.

2005 I passed the EU Open Competition for Assistant Translators of Italian Language (from English, German, French) and was inscribed in the 1st merit group of the reserve list.
2000-2003 I followed my husband to Brussels, where he worked for three years. This experience allowed me to improve my fluency in French and English.
