I've been a freelance translator for a decade this year (2019).

Throughout that time I've built up strong, friendly relationships with a wide range of clients, from the smallest boutique agencies up to international festivals, national airlines, regional museums, a wide variety of academic institutions and individuals, small and medium-sized businesses and several solopreneurs. This year alone I've dealt with over 60 clients, many of whom go way back in terms of us working together.

And why do they come back? Well, besides the obvious answers (quality, reliability, clarity of communication), I provide outstanding service: lightning-speed, flexible, always happy to answer, including on weekends and in the evenings. 

I also provide editing and copywriting services to several marcomms agencies and solopreneurs throughout France.

What's more, I have worked in the last few years with an outstanding team of freelance colleagues that I can call on for bigger projects, including trusted professionals who work into French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese and other languages on request.

In addition to the daily demands of my work, my role as an "influencer", motivating colleagues and exploring with them a certain philosophy of freelancing through my work on social media, has led to me recently joining the ProZ.com team to help in a messaging capacity. My role is to make sure the company's mission is clear to the public, and encourage that same public to give feedback to help the company grow and serve its members better, in line with ProZ.com's new mission of helping freelancers meet their business objectives and fulfil their potential.
