There're often several different versions of the same pieces, lyrics or poems, let alone equirhytmic or poetic translations. If you write poetry, then translation would be handy too.
Why, even just posting excerpts of your current drafts should (besides critics) attract like-minded and interested people, including colleagues and authors. It seems to make a good start)
