Hi everyone, I know Kudoz.net is no longer supported, but I wonder if anyone had come across this problem and, if so, perhaps found a work around.

My system is a P4 -3GHz machine with WinXP home, and I had been using kudoz.net without any problems until a few days ago. What has changed since then? I nstalled the service pack 3 upgrade for Office XP - that's what.

Now, when I start kudoz.net,I get a message window telling me that the application uses activeX and has not been tested by microsoft and so cannot be guaranteed etc. (typical Redmond additude to 3rd party SW!!) click OK if I wish to continue. On clicking OK, Kudoz.net then loads and appears fine. The problem is that this window appears each time you synchronise the app with the Kudoz site - and on such occasions, you have to click OK 30 times (I've counted them and they're consistent).

I am not very familiar with activeX controls - I've had a look in all the usual places (control panel etc.) but can't seem to find anywhere in the system where i can relax this degree of stringency. I suppose I could uninstall SP3. but I'd rather do that as a last resort - or i could finally get round to using and getting familiar with Fusion collaborate - the Proz.com supported solution.

Has anyone cme accross this problem before and found a solution, or can anyone suggest where i might go to find some way to tweak the activeX parameters so this message (requiring thirty clicks) goes away?

Any help appreciated and Happy Easter to everyone.

Sandyh
