memoQ Pretranslate freezes Thread poster: MollyRose

Lately memoQ has been getting stuck when I run Pretranslate. It fills in the target translations but appears to not finish all the tasks in the second green bar. Whenever I cancel, it still stays stuck. I have to end task in Task Manager and reopen memoQ. At least I don't have to import the document again, and the target side is filled in appropriately.
Does anyone know how to fix this, so I can use Pretranslate without risking having to start over? I have version 9.1.9 translator ... 1. Version 9.1.9 is a bit older now, and there have been many updates since then. These updates often contain bug fixes that could resolve performance issues like the one you're experiencing. Might be try to Update memoQ to the Latest Version...
2. Large or corrupted translation memories (TMs) can cause Pretranslate to slow down or freeze. Try optimizing or reindexing your TMs:

> Choose the Reorganize option to optimize your memory.
3. Ensure you have enough RAM available and check for disk space on the drive where memoQ is installed. Close any unnecessary applications to free up memory.
4. Disable Auto-Propagation >
Auto-propagation can cause memoQ to get stuck when it’s trying to fill in matching segments:
- Go to Options > Auto-propagation.
- Uncheck the Enable Auto-propagation option and try running Pretranslate again.
Try doing these and let me know which one worked!

Thank you for your suggestions. Since this is an employer-owned computer and software, I am limited to this version. I have plenty of disk space, and the amount of RAM should be ok.
There was no "Maintenance," but there was a "repair resource," so I did that with my TMs, and it reindexed them. I'll see if I notice a difference! My main TM has more than 117,000 TUs.

If I experience more problems, I'll check Task Manager to see how much memory the CPU is using and close something if necessary.
