2 projects at the same time

I need to work on two MemoQ projects. I am the Reviewer. Each project has one file, and they are extremely similar. I want to open both projects, combine the files and work like that. I'm sure I'll get a lot of repetitions. Then send each translated file to its own respective project.

However, it seems that when I open a project and then I try to open the other one, the first one is gone. It closes, and I can only work on one project (and thus, one file) at a time. Each project has its own TM, so whatever I do in one, will not repeat to the other, and I will have to review it from scratch again.

Is there a way to merge two files from two different projects? And unmerge them when my work is finished? ▲ Collapse

Create a new project Sep 27, 2024

You can create a new project with two files and both TMs attached (via the "Register Local" feature). Then you create a view (glue two documents together) and work with the view. The Create View feature won't merge your files physically. Once you are done with reviewing, you will get two individual files.

The problem is that I don't have the program. Companies give me a temporary access whenever they send me projects. I don't have the possibility to create any new projects.
