Hello Tom,

Old threads can be accessed directly from the index of a particular forum. You are probably seeing the most recent posts page, where there is a limit to the number of threads listed.

If you go to a particular forum, like "Translator resources", you can see all topics since the start of ProZ.com forums. See this page for example: http://www.proz.com/forum/12?start=3800 .

You can also use the search tool, to find topics about particular subjects: http://www.proz.com/?sp=forum&action=SearchForum&advanced=y .

Hope this explains!

Best regards,
Alejandro

Thanks Alejandro - that where I used to be able to see a long way back, to much earlier threads. Now it seems to be restricted to only about 1 month !

I'm afraid I'd find the other methods you suggest too cumbersome to be easily usable.

Would there there any possibiity of allowing users to change their optios from "most recent posts" to "posts in the past 30 days" "posts in the past 60 days" etc.?
