Sure, just let me know when you\'re coming, and I\'ll start sprucing up the guest room!

The same applies to the Seychelles, I think...

A friend of mine is there right now (I mean in the Seychelles), wisely escaping snowy Budapest
There is an indirect (and not perfect) solution to find ProZ.com members in a given country:
Select \"Find/Contact Pros\", search for a relevant language pair (E.g. English-Utopian), then filter search results by specifying the country (\"Utopia\"): there you have a list of ProZians translating into Utopian and living in Ut... If Henry picks on this idea, there could be an opt-in feature on each member\'s settings page, e.g. \"Yes, I would like to be part of ProZ.com Networking. My country and city will be made public to the ProZ.com community\"... something along these lines.

I was sort of toying with this idea myself, Csaba, and here you were quick and organised, and put it up! Like you, I have little ones who will interrupt my travel plans, but not for long
I hope Mats can help Henry do something which will fulfil everyone\'s needs: privacy, search-ability, accessibility.
Meanwhile a forum dedicated to this point would be ideal.

My husband the upholsterer has filled our house with pull-out hide-a-beds. Lots of room in our (uninsulated) country house, for those willing to brave Canadian temperatures! The main cost of travel, as we know, is accomodations, and for those of us who have outgrown student hotels, this is a wise idea. Plus, how nice to sit in someone\'s home, sip wine into the night, discussing the world\'s problems, solutions, history, and languages, while the candles burn down... Sounds great, doesn\'t it?

Your proposal is very interesting indeed, but we can also give out peers precise information. For instance, during nine years I travelled all Latin America and the Caribbean 200 days in the year, and can give peers some tips regarding prices, tourist attractives, etc.
For instance, I heard about a tourist agency in Bariloche that tried to charge 1200 Dollars for a one-week tour from Bariloche to Calafate (Argentina), which can be bought in the local market for 300 Dollars... For instance, I heard about a tourist agency in Bariloche that tried to charge 1200 Dollars for a one-week tour from Bariloche to Calafate (Argentina), which can be bought in the local market for 300 Dollars. Fortunately these cases are not frequent, but it is always better to have first hand information.
Regarding Argentina, you will find good information in the pages of www.alojargentina.com There you will notice that some 4 and 5 star hotels have different rates for residents and foreign tourists. This does not happen when you go to a 3, 2 or 1 star hotel.
This was one of the reasons why I posted two forums in Spanish on Argentina and Latin America, to give some insight and information to those who wish to travel.
If you need any information on Argentina or Latin America, my E-mail is:
robertoingledew@yahoo.com.ar, or
spanishtechnicaltranslations@yahoo.com
Please give me time to answer, because I have a lot of translation work just now.
Regards from Argentina.
