Source text - Persian (Farsi) دوره عظمت غزنویان که با روزگار شهرت فردوسی مقارن است، علمای نامی داشته که در علوم و ادبیات استادان عصر بوده‌اند. ولی جای آن است که به ملاحظه ادبیات ملی، فردوسی را محور این عهد قرار دهیم. زیرا فردوسی نخستین سخن سرای بزرگ ایران است که بعد از استیلای عرب و فراموش شدن افکار و آثار ملی، شاهنامه را که پیش از او دقیقی و دیگران شروع کرده و ناقص گذاشته بودند& از نو آغاز کرد و به پایان رسانید؛ و بدین وسیله داستان‌های باستان را به خاطرها آورد و تاریخ روزگار گذشته را زنده کرد چنانکه خود گوید:
بسی رنج بردم در این سال سی عجم زنده کردم بدین پارسی
در این عهد علم و ادب رواجی یافت. امراء و وزراء که بعضی از آنان مانند:
قابوس وشمگیر و صاحب بن عباد خود نیز از دانشمندان بشمار می‌رفتند، فضلاء را تشویق و حمایت کردند. مناطق اقتدار و پایتخت‌های آنان مانند بخارا و سمرقند و طبرستان و ری و اصفهان و مراکز علم و ادب و محافل دانشمندان بود
Translation - English The period when Ghaznavid dynasty was at its peak in terms of magnificence coincided with Ferdowsi’s lifetime. There were some notable scholars who were then experts in the field of sciences and literature. However, it behooves us to place Ferdowsi as the main axis of knowledge in this period as far as national literature is concerned. This is the case because Ferdowsi is the first great Iranian poet who started to compose Shahnameh that had been already started by Daqiqi and some other poets but left unfinished and he finished composing it. Thus, he made people remember the ancient stories and enlivened the history of the past peoples, as he states in a line of verse:
Much pain I suffered over these thirty years thus managed to revive the Ajam with my verse

existed. There is general agreement that hunter-gatherers crossed the bridge by migrating through a narrow
ice-free corridor. Still, questions linger. When, how, and in what numbers did these people, known as Paleo-Indians,
