Report from  Hege Jakobsen Lepri
The powwow ended up as a small pre-holiday get-together.
Possibly the location, not being directly on the subway-line, kept some people from coming. However, the Granite Brewery had great beer, pretty good food and the conversation flowed easily about anything from Bulgakov, current price pressure in the translation market, CAT-tools and places to travel in Canada.
The service and friendliness of the waiters added to the experience
All the attendees were seasoned translators, but it would be nice to see some "new arrivals" in this profession at our next powwow (probably in the spring some time, unless someone feels the urge to organize a powwow earlier).
