- Postoje i brojni pokazatelji čije kretanje može uticati na samu cenu akcija. Jedan od najviše korišćenih pokazatelja jeste racio (odnos) cene akcije i zarade koju ostvari kompanija po akciji (P/E ratio - price/earnings ratio). Ovaj racio pokazuje koliko investitori plaćaju jedan dinar zarade koju ostvaruje kompanija. Tako, ukoliko je racio cena-zarada jednak 15, investitori plaćaju 15 dinara za svaki dinar zarade kompanije. Istorijski posmatrano, na razvijenim tržištima ovaj racio se najčešće kretao u rasponu između 15 i 25 mada su pojedine kompanije beležile znatne oscilacije. Prosto izvođenje zaključka da su kompanije koje imaju nizak odnos cena-zarada potcenjene i one sa visokim ovim pokazateljem precenjene treba uzeti sa velikom rezervom. Različiti sektori imaju različite uobičajene odnose cena-zarada, a i sam ovaj pokazatelj bez uzimanja u obzir mnogih drugih faktora ne predstavlja presudni faktor za određivanje budućeg trenda cene akcije.
